Five Conference Carolinas soccer and women's volleyball programs ranked in NCAA Division II Region Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS – The final set of NCAA Regional Rankings were released on Wednesday for men's and women's soccer and the second rankings for women's volleyball. Conference Carolinas has three soccer programs and two women's volleyball programs in the rankings.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Soccer and Women's Volleyball Committees up to the NCAA Championship selections. The first set of rankings the institutions are listed alphabetically.

MEN'S SOCCER REGION RANKINGS | WOMEN'S SOCCER REGION RANKINGS

In the men's soccer super-region 2 rankings, Young Harris College is ranked 12th. The Mountain Lions own a 13-1-3 mark.

In the women's southeast rankings, Francis Marion University is ranked third and Belmont Abbey College is ranked 10th. Francis Marion owns a 16-1-0 record this season while the Crusaders are 14-4-1.

The NCAA Division II selection shows for men's and women's soccer are scheduled for Monday, November 17 on NCAA.com. The women's show will air at 6:30 p.m. with the men's to follow at 7:00 p.m.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL REGION RANKINGS

In the first women's volleyball rankings, Converse University and Francis Marion University are ranked. Francis Marion is ranked eighth with an overall record of 20-9 and a region record of 20-8. Converse is 20-7 and ranked 10th.

The NCAA final women's volleyball rankings will come out on November19 before the selection show Monday, November 24 on NCAA.com.
