WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

Lucas closed the regular season with a big match for Francis Marion against Mount Olive. In the 3-1 win that clinched the Conference Carolinas East Division, Lucas posted 23 kills and an attack percentage of .526. She added two aces, three digs and two blocks.

SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Aubrey Johnson | Francis Marion | Setter | Freshman | Chanhassen, Minnesota

In the regular season finale, Johnson handed out 45 assists and added seven digs and one block in a 3-1 win over Mount Olive. The win gave the Patriots the Conference Carolinas East Division championship and top seed in the Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Championship.
 

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Amiya Redus | Shorter | Guard | Sophomore | Tanner, Alabama

For the week, Redus averaged 23.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting 41.9 percent from the floor and 63.6 percent from three-point range. In Shorter's win over Flagler, Redus poured in 41 points on 11-for-20 shooting from the floor and 6-for-10 shooting from long range. She also went 13-for-14 from the free throw line and grabbed eight rebounds.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Aijah Manning | Shorter | Forward | Freshman | McDonough, Georgia

Manning had a big opening weekend, grabbing 25 total rebounds for an average of 12.5 per contest. She also accounted for one block and five steals. Against Clayton State, she snared 15 rebounds to go along with four steals and one block. In a win at Flagler, she grabbed 10 rebounds and added one steal.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Dylan Ramirez | North Greenville | Quarterback | Senior | Cowpens, South Carolina

Ramirez had a big day, leading North Greenville to a Conference Carolinas Bowl win over 25th-ranked UNC Pembroke. He accounted for four touchdowns, three on the ground as he ran for 40 yards on 14 attempts. He threw for 261 yards and one touchdown, going 15-for-20 with a long of 40 yards.

Antwone Godley | Chowan | Defensive Back | Junior | Washington, North Carolina

Godley closed the season with a big game in a Chowan win at Barton. In the contest, he posted two interceptions and five tackles, including two unassisted.

Cillian Bonner | North Greenville | Kick | Freshman | Lettermacaward, Ireland

Bonner was solid in North Greenville's Conference Carolinas Bowl win over 25th-ranked UNC Pembroke. He made all four of his extra points and added a pair of field goals, both coming from 29 yards.
 

MEN'S BASKETBALL

Carl Cleveland | Young Harris | Forward | Senior | Commerce, Georgia

Cleveland opened the season by averaging 35.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game and shooting 72.2 percent for Young Harris. In the season-opening win over Middle Georgia State, Cleveland posted a double-double as he poured in 31 points and snared 12 rebounds. He shot 11-for-16 from the floor in the win. He then went 15-for-20 from the floor and accounted for 39 points against North Georgia.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Moe Bangura | UNC Pembroke | Forward | Senior | Lorton, Virginia

Bangura was big for UNC Pembroke on the defensive end last week. In two games, he averaged 9.5 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game. He started with 13 rebounds and seven blocks against USC Aiken before posting six rebounds, one block and one steal against Lander.
