Aijah Manning | Shorter | Forward | Freshman | McDonough, Georgia
Manning averaged a double-double for Shorter last week, scoring 18.5 points and grabbing 11.0 rebounds per game. She added three assists, four steals, one block and shot 48.3 percent from the floor. The freshman started with 21 points on 9-for-16 shooting, 12 rebounds, three assists, four steals and one block in a win over Southern Wesleyan. She then posted 16 points and 10 rebounds against Montevallo.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Lauren Mingo | Barton | Guard | Senior | Clinton, Maryland
Mingo was solid for Barton on the defensive end, averaging 8.5 rebounds while adding eight steals in two games. She started with five rebounds and four steals in a win over UNC Pembroke before accounting for 12 rebounds and four steals against Winston-Salem State.

Payne was outstanding in a pair of Young Harris wins last week, averaging 20.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game while adding five assists and four steals. The sophomore started with 19 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals in a win over Emmanuel before posting 22 points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal in a win over Clayton State.

In two Young Harris wins last week, Cleveland anchored the Mountain Lion defense. He snared 23 rebounds, averaging 11.5 boards per game and added three steals and one block. He started with 12 rebounds, two steals and one block in a win over Emmanuel before posting 11 rebounds and one steal against Clayton State.
