FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Kenisha Barnes | Mount Olive | Junior | Throws | Salem, North Carolina
For a second straight week, Barnes established a NCAA mark in the weight throw, as the Trojans competed at the D1 Pre-Nationals in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She secured a fourth-place finish in the event following a toss of 17.13 meters on her third attempt of the competition. Barnes still remains the only female student-athletes in the region to reach an NCAA Standard in the weight throw this season.

Futoria Harris | Mount Olive | Freshman | Sprints | Fayetteville, North Carolina
For the third time this season, Harris has reset the Conference Carolinas and Mount Olive record in the 60-meter dash. At the D1 Pre-Nationals, she crossed the line in 7.39 seconds to earn a first-place finish and hit the NCAA Provisional Standard. Harris holds the seventh-fastest time in NCAA Division II.

Sigursteinn Asgeirsson | Mount Olive | Sophomore | Throws | Thorgautsstadir, Iceland
A native of Thorgautsstadir, Iceland, Asgeirsson captured a first-place finish in the shot put over the weekend at the D1 Pre-Nationals held in Virginia Beach, Virginia. On his final attempt of the competition, he delivered a toss of 16.45 meters to establish an NCAA Standard in the event. Asgeirsson continues to boast the second-best mark in the region and lead the Conference Carolinas.

Jason Hart | Mount Olive | Junior | Sprints | Crawley, England
Hart tied the school record and hit the NCAA Provisional Standard in the 200-meter dash, as the Trojans competed at the D1 Pre-Nationals over the weekend. He matched his career-best time in the event after crossing the line in 21.48 seconds to claim third place. Following his performance, Hart leaps to fourth in the Southeast Region and continues to top-time in the Conference Carolinas.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Jess Jaruszewski | Young Harris | Senior | Utility | Boynton Beach, Florida
Jaruszewski had a big weekend for the Mountain Lions, hitting .571 with two runs scored and three runs batted in. She opened with a pair of hits and drove in one in Young Harris' win over USC Aiken before driving in two, scoring twice on two hits in a win over Lander. She also hit a home run in the win over Lander.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Jenna Walling | Francis Marion | Junior | Pitcher | Johns Island, South Carolina
In two appearances last week, Walling posted a win and a save while registering a 1.11 ERA in six and one-thirds innings pitched. She first earned the save, recording tthe final out with the bases loaded in the seventh inning of a 4-3 win over USC Beaufort. She followed that by tossing all six innings of Francis Marion's 9-1 win over the Sand Sharks. She struckout seven and only allowed two hits in game two.
BASEBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Evan Harding | Barton | Senior | Outfield | Clayton, North Carolina
Harding recorded a .563 batting average, going 9-for-16 with a pair of home runs and two doubles. He also drove in nine runs and scored six runs over four games. He drove in six runs on two home runs and a double in the series finale against King. In that contest, he also posted four hits and scored three runs in the 9-6 win.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Tanner Folds | Shorter | Junior | Pitcher | Calhoun, Georgia
Folds tossed eight innings against third-ranked North Greenville, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out six. He held the Trailblazers to a .185 batting average as Shorter earned a 3-2 win with a run in the ninth inning.
ACROBATICS & TUMBLING
ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Ryann Swope | Lander | Senior | Top/Tumbler | Twin Falls, Idaho
Swope was a key part of Lander's season-opening win over Emmanuel as she competed in 12 heats. She contributed to four compulsory event were at 8.90 or better, including a 9.90 in the compulsory toss. In the acro event, Swope helped the Bearcats scored 8.75/10.00 in heat two and 9.75/10.00 in heat three. The senior helped scored 9.85/10.00 in synchronized pyramid before scoring 9.60/9.90 in heat one and 8.60/9.40 in heat two. In the six element tumbling pass, Swope scored 9.575/10.00.
SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Hanna Helms | Coker | Senior | Top | York, South Carolina
Competing the pyramid event, Helms helped the Cobras to a pair of solid scores. Coker scored 9.50/10.00 in the synchronized pyramid and 9.45/10.00 in the open pyramid, leading Cobras to the win. She competed as a top performing two different body positions on two different structures. In the synchronized pyramid, Helms performed a straddle hold on a backbend pyramid and in the open pyramid she competed a vertical one man pyramid. This helped Coker to sweep the pyramid event, scoring 28.15 and extending the Cobras' lead by more than four points.

WRESTLER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Montana DeLawder | King | 131 pounds | Senior | Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
DeLawder secured a win by pin in ten seconds over Newberry's Summer McKeen at the 131 pounds. The win helped King to a 24-10 victory, giving King the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas regular season outright.
