Sandvig averaged 4.50 kills and 2.67 digs per set, as the Trojans secured a pair of sweeps on the road over the weekend to improve to a perfect 4-0 in league play. On Friday night, he finished with a season-high 17 kills on a .367 hitting percentage, while adding nine digs and one block in a 3-0 sweep over Belmont Abbey. The following day, Sandvig reached double-figures with 10 kills on a .333 clip with one ace, seven digs, and a block to complete a 3-0 win at North Greenville.

Jackson Lahey | Mount Olive | Junior | Setter | Pembroke Pines, Florida

Lahey guided the Trojan offense with 12.67 assists, 1.33 digs, and 0.83 blocks per set, as Mount Olive improved to 4-0 in Conference Carolinas play following two victories on the road. On Friday night, he finished with 44 assists, three service aces, two kills, three digs, and three blocks in a 3-0 sweep at Belmont Abbey. The next day, Lahey directed the offense with 32 assists, two aces, five digs, one kill, and two blocks in a 3-0 win over North Greenville.
 

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Anastasia Sinclair |UNC Pembroke | Sophomore | Guard | Charlotte, North Carolina

Sinclair averaged 16.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game in a pari of UNC Pembroke wins whil shooting 64.7 percent from the floor. She started the week with a game-high 17 points on a 5-for-7 shooting performance in a key divisional contest against Chowan where she pulled down four rebounds, added three assists and a pair of steals. The sophomorec losed out the week with a game-high 15 points on a 6-for-10 showing at Southern Wesleyan. In the contest she dished out a career and game-high nine assists, pulled down five rebounds, had three steals and a pair of blocks.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Jordan Brown | Converse | Senior | Guard/Forward | McCormick, South Carolina

Brown had a solid week defensively for the Valkyries as she pulled down an average of 8.7 rebounds per game. She added five steals and four blocks to lead Converse. She posted five rebounds, four steals and three blocks in a win over North Greenville before a nine-rebound performance agianst Barton. She closed the week with 12 rebounds, one steal and one block against Chowan.

Carl Cleveland | Young Harris | Junior | Forward | Commerce, Georgia

Cleveland had a big week for the Mountain Lions in a pair of wins, averaging 31.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. She opened the week with 32 points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal in a win over Southern Wesleyan. The junior followed that with 31 points on 11-for-16 shooting to go along with eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in a win over Mount Olive. For the week he shot 55.5 percent from the floor and 87.0 percent from the free throw line.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Cameron Bleshoy | Young Harris | Junior | Forward | Marietta, Georgia

Bleshoy anchored the Mountain Lion defense in a pair of wins last week as he grabbed 10.5 rebounds per game to go along with four blocks. He pulled down 14 rebounds and added three blocks against Southern Wesleyan before adding seven rebounds and one block against Mount Olive.
 

WOMEN'S LACROSSE
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Olivia Carlino | Belmont Abbey | Senior | Attack | Campbell, California

Carlino was an integral part of the offensive attack for Belmont Abbey as she finished with a team-best seven goals as the Crusaders earned a 16-9 victory over No. 17 Mount Olive. Out of those seven goals, she had a run of five straight goals to turn a 6-5 deficit into a 10-6 advantage in the second quarter and early in the third quarter. The run was part of a streak of nine straight Crusader goals. Belmont Abbey earned its first win over Mount Olive since the 2018 Conference Carolinas Women's Lacross Championship while snapping the 44-game conference winning streak of the Trojans in the process. Additionally, Carlino finished with a team-best six ground balls and added a caused turnover to her credit.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Summer Eddinger | Belmont Abbey | Junior | Goalkeeper | Fallston, Maryland

Eddinger put together a strong performance in the cage for Belmont Abbey, making nine saves and recording six ground balls in the 16-9 win over No. 17 Mount Olive. She was one of three Crusaders with six ground balls on the day and helped Belmont Abbey earn its first win over Mount Olive since the 2018 Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Championship while snapping Mount Olive's 44-game conference winning streak.
 

MEN'S LACROSSE
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Cole Morris | Lees-McRae | Sophomore | Attack | Okotoks, Alberta, Canada

Morris tallied seven points to lead Lees-McRae to a win over Alabama Huntsville. He recorded four goals and added three assists while adding three groundballs.

Grady Magruder | Emmanuel | Sophomore | Goalkeeper | Elk River, Minnesota

In his lone game of the week, Magruder registered 16 saves and a save percentage of .667 to help lead Emmanuel to a win over Coker. He also added five groundballs.
