GREENVILLE, S.C. – Alyssa Poston of Francis Marion University was selected Wilson/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) following a stellar week where she posted a 0.35 ERA in three starts.

Poston posted three complete games, including two shutouts last week. She started with a shutout against 19th-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne, allowing only three hits over six innings while striking out five. She followed that with complete games against Wingate, tossing seven innings in each.

In the first contest against Wingate, she only allowed two hits and struck out seven. In her next start against the Bulldogs, Poston only allowed one run on 10 hits with two strikeouts. For the week, the junior tossed 20 innings, allowing one run on 10 hits while striking out 15. She finished the week with an ERA of 0.35.
