Bracket announced for 2025 Atlantic Casualty Insurance Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Championship

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas unveiled the 2025 Atlantic Casualty Insurance Company Conference Carolinas Women’s Basketball Championship bracket after the conclusion of the regular season on Wednesday evening.

Francis Marion University (22-5, 17-3) earned the top seed while Belmont Abbey College (23-5, 17-3) earned the second seed. Both teams will have a bye to the semifinals on Saturday, March 8. The Patriots shared the East Division title and grabbed the top seed with a KPI of .192 while the Northwest Division champion Crusaders had a KPI of .155.

Chowan University (18-5, 15-5) earned a bye to the quarterfinals on Friday, March 7. The Hawks grabbed the third seed with a KPI of .150.

UNC Pembroke (21-7, 15-5) earned the fourth seed with a KPI of .129. The East Division co-champions will host first and second-round games on Sunday, March 2 and Monday, March 3. Ninth seed Barton College (13-15, 9-11) will face 10th seed Converse University (9-18, 7-13) on Sunday with the winner taking on the host Braves on Monday.

Young Harris College (20-8, 14-6) earned the fifth seed with a KPI of .105. The Mountain Lions will host a first-round game between King University (12-15, 10-10) on Sunday night before taking on the winner in the second round on Monday night.

Shorter University (20-6, 15-5) will be the sixth seed with a KPI of .100. The Southwest Division champions will host a first-round contest between seventh seed Emmanuel University (12-15, 11-9) and 12th seed North Greenville University (6-20, 6-14) on Sunday night before the Hawks will take on the winner on Monday night.

The three first and second-round winners will advance to the quarterfinals that will be held at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium on Friday, March 7. The semifinals and final follow on Saturday, March 8 and Sunday March 9 at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.

The Atlantic Casualty Conference Carolinas Basketball Championships will also feature the Spirit Championships for the third consecutive year, which includes being held in the main arena of Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium for the second straight year. The Spirit Championships are scheduled for the morning of Saturday, March 8.
