FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Janara Bryant | Mount Olive | Freshman | Jumps | Beaufort, North Carolina
Bryant competed in three events at the Bast-Cregger Multi Invitational and registered two NCAA provisional standards over the weekend. She secured a first place finish and hit the NCAA mark in the triple jump with a leap of 12.07 meters, which sits second all-time in program history. She also established an NCAA standard in the long jump with a distance of 5.79 meters to place second overall. Bryant capped a fantastic meet with a third-place finish in the high jump after clearing 1.54 meters.

Isabelle Flores | Belmont Abbey | Senior | Sprints/Hurdles | Orange Park, Florida
Flores set the school record, winning the 400 meter dash at the Carolina Challenge with a time of 57.24 seconds. That time ranks second in Conference Carolinas this season. She finsihed sixth in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.90 seconds after posting the second-fastest prelim time of 8.97 seconds.

Josh Gulapa | Belmont Abbey | Junior | Jumps/Hurdles | Naples, Florida
Gulapa finished third in the heptathlon at the Bast-Cregger Multis Invitational where he totaled 4367 points. He posted the best times in the 60 meter dash and 60 meter hurdles while finishing fourth in the high jump and the 1000 meters. He posted a Conference Carolinas qualifyting time in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.40 seconds.
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Norman Junker | UNC Pembroke | Senior | Distance | Nordrach, Germany
Junker posted the best mile time in Conference Carolinas this season, running a personal-best 4:18.92 (converted to 4:22.94) at the VMI Winter Relays. He also won the 5000 meters with a time of 15:09.48 (converted to 15:19.22), the fourth fastest time in Conference Carolinas this season.
SOFTBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Amberly Way | Southern Wesleyan | Sophomore | Pitcher/Utility | Summerton, South Carolina
Way got off to a hot start, helping the Warriors to three wins, two over Albany State and another over Fort Valley State. She opened the season with seven runs batted in, going 3-for-4 with two home runs, a grand slam and three-run home run. She then drove in another run with a hit in game two before lacing a two-run home run in a 3-2 win over Fort Valley State. For the week, she hit .455 with 10 runs batted in on three home runs and a double while slugging 1.364.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Alyssa Poston | Francis Marion | Junior | Pitcher | Hartsville, South Carolina
In her season debut, Poston tossed a five-hit shutout against Coker as the Patriots won the contest 2-0. The junior tossed 73 strikes and completed the contest on 99 pitches where she struck out 10 against zero walks.
BASEBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Landon Mokris | Emmanuel | Senior | Infield | Huntingburg, Indiana
Mokris had a big weekend for Emmanuel, leading the Lions to a pair of wins over Lee. In three games, the senior posted eight hits, including four doubles and one home run while scoring five runs. He also walked three times and drove in four. For the week, Mokris owned a .667 batting average, .750 on base percentage and 1.250 slugging percentage. In the season-opener he went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two walks, driving in two and scoring three runs. He added two hits, including a home run in game two before posting three hits, two more doubles in the series finale.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Zach Hart | Young Harris | Senior | Pitcher | Middletown, Delaware
Hart started his season with an outstanding performance, tossing seven shutout innings in a 3-2 win over Auburn University Montgomery. He only allowed three hits in the contest and struck out three. He held the Flames to a .125 batting average in the contest.

WRESTLER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Clare Booe | King | 117 pounds | Freshman | Tarpon Springs, Florida
Booe went 4-0 at the Bobcat Open to win the championship at 117 pounds. All four of her wins came via pin, with three coming in the first 90 seconds. She started with a 17-second pin over Paige Altizer of Bluefield State before consecutive pins over Sacred Heart opponents. She won the title with a 4:37 pin of teammate Melanie Mendoza.

WRESTLER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Trent Mahoney | King | 157 pounds | Senior | Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Mahoney went 6-0 last week with a pair of Conference Carolinas wins and four wins at the Cumberland Open to take home the title at 157 pounds. He started with pins of conference foes, Jack Ponder of Shorter and Julian Smith of Lincoln Memorial. he then posted two wins by pin and another by technical fall at the Cumberland Open as he won the title bout via pin over Damion Jones of Huntingdon in 2:35.
