Eight Conference Carolinas institutions, 30 individuals to compete at NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas will have 30 individuals compete at the 2025 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships this weekend from eight different institutions.

Lander University enters with eight participants as the Bearcats are ranked eighth in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Postseason Rankings. The University of Mount Olive is ranked 22nd in the poll and will have three participants. King University, Belmont Abbey College and Newberry College are all receiving votes in the poll as they all will have four participants.

UNC Pembroke will have three participants while the University of Montevallo and Coker University have two and one participants, respectively.

David Hunsberger of Lander is the defending national champion and is the top seed at 165 pounds.

The 2025 championships will take place at Corteva Coliseum in Indianapolis, Indiana.
