WOMEN'S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Fina Mochi | Belmont Abbey | Sophomore | Pole Vault/High Jump | McSherrystown, Pennsylvania

Mochi finished third in the high jump and seventh in the pole vault at the season-opening Phoenix Invitational. In the high jump, she cleared 1.55 meters before clearing 2.93 meters in the pole vault.

TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Aniya Heckstall | Barton | Junior | Sprints/Jumps | Scotland Neck, North Carolina

At the season-opening Phoenix Invitational, Heckstall won both the 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash. She finished the 100 meter dash in 12.06 seconds before crossing the finish line in the 200 meter dash in 24.20 seconds.
 

MEN'S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Darion Drey, Jr. | Barton | Freshman | Throws | Kannapolis, North Carolina

Drye, Jr. won the discus at the Phoenix Invitational with a school record mark of 48.37 meters. He also finished fifth in the shot put with a mark of 12.09 meters.

Flores won the 1500 meters at the Phoenix Invitational with a school record time of 3:59.23.
 

SOFTBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Jaryn Gibson | Emmanuel | Senior | Third Base/First Base | Lawrenceville, Georgia

In six Lion wins last week, Gibson hit .500 with nine hits, nine runs batted in and four runs scored. She aced two doubles and a triple to post a slugging percentage of .722. The senior registered two games with at least two hits, including a 3-for-4 performance with a double and two runs batted in against Erskine. Gibson registered three games where she drove in at least two runs, including three runs batted in against Shorter.

PITCHER OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Carly Forrester | Emmanuel | Senior | Pitcher | Sugar Hill, Georgia

Forrester went 2-0 for the Lions last week with wins over Erskine and Southern Wesleyan. In her final start of the week, she tossed a perfect game, retiring all 21 hitters she faced in order against Southern Wesleyan. In the contest, she registered four strikeouts on 78 pitches. Nine outs game via flyouts and eight came on ground balls.
 

BASEBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Ryan Muniz | Emmanuel | Senior | Infield | Aurora, Colorado

Muniz recorded eight hits in 15 at bats last week for a .533 average while leading the Lions to a 3-1 record. The senior posted three multi-hit games with two doubles and three home runs, resulting in nine runs scored and 11 runs batted in. He started the week with a 3-for-4 performance with a pair of doubles and five runs batted in as the Lions topped Anderson. He later laced two home runs on three hits and drove in three while scoring twice in the series finale against Shorter. In the first game against Shorter, he scored three runs on two hits and drove in two with a home run.

PITCHER OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Matthew Rivers | Barton | Senior | Pitcher | Kernersville, North Carolina

In his lone start of the week, Rivers held top-ranked North Greenville to one run on four hits over seven innings. The senior struck out six in the outing and only allowed three hits following a first-inning home run. He retired the final six batters he faced as Barton won the contest 3-1 in extra innings.
 

ACROBATICS & TUMBLING
ATHLETE OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Kacie Kier | Limestone | Senior | Base/Top/Tumbler | Elgin, South Carolina

Kier competed in 19 heats plus both team events two meets for the Saints last week. She contributed in 10 events that scored a 9.5 or above, including scores of 9.85 in pyramid heat 2, 10.00 in the open pyramid,  and 9.75 in toss heat one as well as a 9.725 in aerial tumbling. In the team event as a base and tumbler, Kier helped Limestone score 86.710 against Quinnipiac and 84.080 at Emmanuel.

SPECIALIST OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Kaila Gamaldo | Limestone | Senior | Tumbler | Jacksonville, Florida

In two meets last week, Gamaldo posted tumbling duo pass scores of 9.250/9.75 against Quinnipiac and a 9.500/9.75 against Emmanuel. She also recorded open tumbling pass scores of 9.750/10.00 against Quinnipiac and 9.675/10.00 against Emmanuel.
