GREENVILLE, S.C. – Two Conference Carolinas men’s basketball players garnered All-Southeast Region by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA). Daylan Askew of Chowan University earn first team honors while Bradlee Haskell of UNC Pembroke garnered second team recognition.
Askew was selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Year and first team all-conference. He ranked second in the league with an average of 21.9 points per game to go along with averages of 3.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. He scored at least 20 points in a game 18 times, including seven contests with at least 30 points. His season-high of 35 came on December 1 against Augusta University.
Haskell, a first team all-conference selection, has seen action in every game this season and leads the team averaging 17.6 points per game. The senior is shooting 46.8 percent from the field and 46.4 percent from the perimeter, which ranks second in the nation. Haskell has scored in double-figures in 28 games this season, including a career-high 30 points at Lander earlier this season.
The NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners sponsored the All-Region teams.
