NEWPORT, Ky. – Belmont Abbey College captured both the men’s and women’s 2025 Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest Bowling Championships titles for the second straight year. The women defeated Walsh University 2-0 in the MegaMatch while the men topped Thomas More University 2-1 in the MegaMatch.

Walsh opened Sunday with a 4-2 win over Thomas More, setting up a championship MegaMatch with Belmont Abbey . The Crusaders grabbed the lead in the traditional portion of the MegaMatch with 949 pins to 877 for Walsh. Belmont Abbey claimed their third straight title, winning the Baker Total Pinfall 957-839.
Belmont Abbey earns the automatic bid into the NCAA Bowling Championships. The field will be announced on NCAA.com on Wednesday.

Thomas More opened the MegaMatch winning the traditional portion 959-877. Belmont Abbey came back to even the MegaMatch at 1-1, winning the Baker Total Pinfall 937-797 to force a deciding Baker Match Play best-of-seven. Belmont Abbey then took their third straight title, winning the Baker Match Play 4-2.
