GREENVILLE, S.C. – For the first time since the 1974-75 academic year, football will be played in Conference Carolinas in the fall of 2025. The conference slate opens in week two on Saturday, September 13.

Conference Carolinas will have seven teams in 2025 including Barton College, Chowan University, Erskine College, Ferrum College, North Greenville University, Shorter University and UNC Pembroke.

The first game in Conference Carolinas will feature Barton and North Greenville in Tigerville, South Carolina on Saturday, September 13. The league will feature one game in each of weeks three and four with new member Ferrum traveling to UNC Pembroke in week three. In week four, Chowan travels to Shorter.

"For the first time in 51 years, we are excited to have football back in Conference Carolinas," Conference Carolinas Commissioner Chris Colvin said. "The competition on our campuses will bring about new rivalries and traditions, creating great experiences for our student-athletes."
The first full slate of games will be on Saturday, October 4 in week five with three games that Saturday.

The Conference Carolinas Football Championship will be held on Saturday, November 15 and will be hosted by the top seed.
