WOMEN'S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Kenisha Barnes | Mount Olive | Junior | Throws | Selma, North Carolina
Barnes established an NCAA provisional standard in the hammer throw and placed second overall with a personal-best toss of 54.88 meters while competing at the Trojan Relays. She is one of only two athletes in the Southeast Region to hit the national qualifying mark in the hammer.
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Aniya Heckstall | Barton | Junior | Sprints/Jumps | Scotland Neck, North Carolina
Heckstall won both the 100 and 200 meters at the Trojan Relays. She covered the 100 meter distance in 11.74 seconds and the 200 meter distance in 24.10 seconds. She was also a member of the 4x100 meter relay team that finish first in a time of 46.86 seconds.

Matthew Heywood | Mount Olive | Sophomore | Throws | Chorley, England
Heywood established a new personal-best mark and set the second-best distance in the Conference Carolinas with a toss of 54.52 meters in the hammer throw to place second overall at the Trojan Relays.
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Kyan Sapko | Converse | Senior | Hurdles | Greer, South Carolina
Finished the 400 meter hurdles in a school record time of 54.66 seconds at the Gamecock Invitational. That time leads Conference Carolinas and ranks fourth in the southeast region.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Paige Strickland | Francis Marion | Senior | Outfield | Creedmoor, North Carolina
Strickland hit .440 with 11 hits including three home runs, one double and one triple in six wins for the Patriots last week. She scored six runs and drove in 14, including seven on three home runs in game two against Mount Olive. The junior registered the one game with three hits and four others with two hits and drove in two runs in four games. Strickland is currently on a 19-game hitting streak.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Jenna Walling | Francis Marion | Junior | Pitcher | Johns Island, South Carolina
Walling went 2-0 with a save in four appearances last week. For the week she posted a 0.44 ERA in 16.0 innings pitched, including two complete games. In that time she only allowed 12 hits and one earned run while striking out 14. The junior recorded the final two outs in a 6-5 win over Mount Olive to earn the save before tossing a complete game in game two, allowing one run on six hits. She closed the week with a shutout of Converse where she only allowed three hits and struck out 10.
BASEBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Dylan Wanat | Erskine | Senior | Outfield | Buffalo, New Yord
Wanat hit .438 last week with seven hits, including three home runs and one double. The senior drove in seven runs and scored four in four Flying Fleet contests. He posted two hits in three of the four contests and laced two home runs in game on against Chowan where he drove in four. Wanat also drove in two runs in game two against Chowan.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Seth Willis | UNC Pembroke | Senior | Pitcher | Vale, North Carolina
In two relief appearances last week, Willis posted saves against 23rd-ranked Francis Marion. He tossed the final three innings without allowing a hit and striking out seven in a 4-3 UNC Pembroke win in game one of the doubleheader. In the nightcap, Willis tossed the final inning and struck out three in the 6-5 Brave win.
