SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Barton College won their third straight Conference Carolinas Men's Golf Championship on Tuesday. Oscar Lonnqvist of the University of Mount Olive earned individual medalist honors.
The championship was contested at the par 72, 6929-yard course at the Carolina Country Club.

Barton wins their third straight and fifth championship with a tournament score of 875 The Bulldogs were followed by Mount Olive who finished with a stroke total of 884.
Lonnqvist finished with a score of three-under 213 following a final round of 72. ÅAsmund Norum of King University and Ryan Jahr of Barton College finished runner-up at two-under 214.
Barton earns the automatic bid into the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship. The selections will be announced on Friday, April 25. The South/Southeast Regional will be hosted at Howey-In-The-Hills Golf Course at Mission Resort + Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida on May 8-10.
