GREENVILLE, S.C. – Seth Willis of UNC Pembroke was selected National Collegiate Baseball Writers’ Association (NCBWA) Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week.
In two relief appearances last week, Willis posted saves against 23rd-ranked Francis Marion. He tossed the final three innings without allowing a hit and striking out seven in a 4-3 UNC Pembroke win in game one of the doubleheader. In the nightcap, Willis tossed the final inning and struck out three in the 6-5 Brave win.
