GREENVILLE, S.C. – The bracket for the 2025 Conference Carolinas Women’s Lacrosse Championship was announced on Friday with Belmont Abbey College earning the top seed.
Belmont Abbey and the University of Mount Olive were named regular season co-champions as each went 7-1 in Conference Carolinas play. The Crusaders earned the top seed based on defeating Mount Olive. The Crusaders are 8-8 overall while the Trojans, the second seed are 9-7.
The tournament starts on Tuesday, April 22 with two quarterfinal matches at third seed Barton College and fourth seed Young Harris College. Barton (9-6, 5-2) takes on six seed Emmanuel University (7-7, 3-4) at 3:30 p.m. while Young Harris (10-6, 6-2) faces fifth seed North Greenville University (7-9, 5-3) at 4:00 p.m.
The semifinals and final will take place at Ray McDonald Sr. Sports Complex at Mount Olive on Friday, April 25 and Sunday, April 27.
Belmont Abbey will play in the first semifinal at 4:45 p.m. as they await the winner of the Young Harris-North Greenville quarterfinal. Mount Olive will face the winner of Barton and Emmanuel in the second semifinal at 7:30 p.m.
