GREENVILLE, S.C. – Prior to the start of the 2025 Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Championship semifinals, the league announced their major award winners and all-conference selections.
The all-conference awards were chosen by the league's head coaches.
Paige Murphy of Emmanuel University was tabbed offensive player of the year. Murphy leads Conference Carolinas with 95 goals and an average of 6.33 goals per game. She also ranks ninth in the league with an average of 1.47 assists per game with 22 total assists. Her points per game average of 7.80 per game and 117 total points lead Conference Carolinas. She is the only player in Conference Carolinas to eclipse the 100-point plateau.
The University of Mount Olive's Simone McCraw becomes the eighth straight Trojan to earn defensive player of the year honors. McCraw leads the league with an average of 3.06 caused turnovers per game with 49 total caused turnovers. She also ranks eighth in Conference Carolinas with an average of 2.44 ground balls per game with 39 total ground balls.
Addyson Greenspan of Belmont Abbey College was selected freshman of the year. In her first year on campus, Greenspan posted 22 goals and nine assists for 31 points. She ranked third among Crusaders in assists and fourth in goals.
Belmont Abbey head coach Molly Kopp garnered coach of the year honors after leading the Crusaders to a share of the regular season title and top seed in the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Championship. The Crusaders are 9-8 overall and 7-1 in league play.
