GREENVILLE, S.C. – Landon Mokris of Emmanuel University was selected National Collegiate Baseball Writers’ Association (NCBWA) Southeast Region Player of the Week.
Mokris had a big week, leading Emmanuel to four wins. He posted a .733 batting average with 11 hits, including three doubles and a triple. The senior also scored eight runs and drove in five. He started with a 4-for-4 performance with two doubles and three runs scored in a win over 16th-ranked North Georgia. He then posted two hits, including a triple in game one against Southern Wesleyan. He closed the week with two hits in game two against Southern Wesleyan and three hits with four runs batted in in the series finale.
This marks the second time this season Mokris has earned NCBWA Southeast Region Player of the week, with the other coming on February 4.
