Day 2 at Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track & Field Championships

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The second day of the 2025 Conference Carolinas Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium featured a wide array of finals from the multi-events to the steeplechase and prelims setting up a big day at the beach on Saturday.
Highlights from Day 2 came in the multi-event performances from Hannah Hill from North Greenville University in Conference Carolinas first ever Heptathlon as she scored 5290 points. Trent Brown from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke was the first ever winner of the decathlon with 6126 points.
In the women’s long jump Janara Bryant of the University of Mount Olive won with a #20 NCAA Division II mark of 5.90m (19-04.25 feet).
University of Mount Olive (82) leads the way in the men's events after Day 2, with UNC-Pembroke in second with 55 points, followed by Belmont Abbey (29), Converse (26) and Southern Wesleyan rounds out the top 5 with 22 points.
In the women's track & field Mount Olive (75) is ahead of Converse (58) and third place North Greenville (50), with Belmont Abbey (26) and UNCP with 20 points rounding out the top 5.
