University of Mount Olive wins the 2025 Conference Carolinas Outdoor Men’s Track & Field Championships

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Trojans of the University of Mount Olive captured the 2025 Conference Carolinas Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium with a score of 193 points.
In second place was Converse University as they scored 147, and UNC-Pembroke finishing in third with 132 points.
The Trojans scored 27 points in the triple jump, 24 in the discus and hammer throws, 23 in the shot put, 16 in the long jump and 13 in the high jump.
The top performers in the meet for the Trojans were Holden Gerth with 2
nd place in the javelin and high jump. Nic Cloud with 14 points, 2
nd in the shot put and 6
th in the hammer and discus throw. Dominic Nutter with first place in the hammer throw and 5
th place in the discus throw.
