GREENVILLE, S.C. – The 2025 Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Championship semifinals concluded with the University of Mount Olive and Belmont Abbey College advancing to Saturday’s championship match.
Top seed and 20th-ranked Mount Olive hit a blistering .389 in the 3-0 sweep of fourth seed North Greenville University. The Trojan defense held the Trailblazers to a .140 attack percentage, including a 0.00 percentage in the opening set. Mount Olive took the first set 25-16 before winning the second set 25-20 and closed out the match with a 25-23 third-set victory.
Kory Grant led Mount Olive with 15 kills and nine digs while Tate Sandvig added 12 kills. Logan Keothavy led North Greenville with nine kills.
In what was a tight match, second seed Belmont Abbey swept third seed Barton College. The Crusaders took the first set 26-24 before winning the second set 25-21. Belmont Abbey then hit .406 in their 25-23 third set win to take the match 3-0.
Mount Olive will face Belmont Abbey in the championship match on Saturday at King University in Bristol, Tennessee at 3:00 p.m.
