University of Mount Olive wins the 2025 Conference Carolinas Outdoor Women’s Track & Field Championships

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Trojans of the University of Mount Olive captured the 2025 Conference Carolinas Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium with a score of 221 points.
In second place was North Greenville University as they scored 145, with Converse University finishing with 139 points.
Mount Olive swept the shot put and the triple jump to give themselves a large lead on championship Saturday. They had 2
nd and 3
rd place in the women’s 400m hurdles as well.
The top performers in the meet for the Trojans were Janara Bryant who won the long and triple jump. Her mark in the Triple Jump of 13.10m is ranked 2
nd in NCAA Division II. Teammate Karla Hormazabal finished second and has the 9
th ranked mark in the country with 12.24m.
