Top seeds advance to 2025 Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship final

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The 2025 Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championships saw top seed Limestone University and second seed Coker University advance to Sunday’s championship with semifinal wins on Saturday.

The eighth-ranked Saints opened with a solid compulsory event to take more than a four point advantage. Limestone continued to pull away from fourth seed Belmont Abbey College in the acro and pyramid events, holding an 89.275-78.425 at the half. In the second half, Limestone pulled away in the tumbling and team events to take the meet 240.945-215.640.

The 14th-ranked Cobras jumped out to an early lead, outscoring third-seed Mars Hill by nearly four points in the compulsory event. The Lions cut into the deficit in acro, but trailed at the half 85-350-82.975. Mars Hill again pulled closer, outscoring Coker in the toss event before Coker extended their lead in the tumbling event. Coker then took the meet 232.180-219.640 following a solid team event.

Limestone and Coker will meet on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in the championship. The 2025 Conference Carolinas Event Finals will start at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday prior to the championship meet.
