GREENVILLE, S.C. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their all-region awards, and eight athletes from Conference Carolinas were recognized with five being selected first team all-region.

Conference Carolinas Pitcher of the Year, Alyssa Poston and Conference Carolinas Player of the Year Paige Strickland, both of Francis Marion University led the five first team selections. Fellow Patriots, Jenna Walling, Madalyn White and Emily Konz also earned first team recognition.

Gabby Burroughs of Erskine College, Emily Blackwell of North Greenville University and Grace Young of Young Harris College all earned second team recognition.
