PUEBLO, Colo. – Conference Carolinas ended the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships with five total All-Americans, including three on the final day of competition.
SATURDAY
In the women’s triple jump, Janara Bryant of the University of Mount Olive finished second by 0.06 meters with a leap of 13.27 meters. Her teammate Karla Hormazabal finished 11th with a distance of 12.60 meters.
In the women’s 100 meter dash, Barton College’s Aniaya Heckstall set a personal best of 11.41 seconds to finish seventh.
Belmont Abbey College’s Isabelle Flores finished seventh in the women’s 400 meter hurdles with a personal best time of 59.21 seconds.
The Converse University men’s 4x100 meter relay team didn’t finish in the final heat.
FRIDAY
Hill started the day 16th in the heptathlon, but had a solid day with four top-three finishes. She won the 800 meters, finished runner-up in the javelin and long jump and took third in the 200 meters. That gave Hill a seventh place finish with a total of 5356 points.
Channie Jefferson of the University of Mount Olive finished 17th in the women’s 100 meter hurdles with a time of 13.93 seconds.
Mount Olive’s Ryan Wilson-McCoy set a personal best in the men’s triple jump with a mark of 15.45 meters to finish 16th.
THURSDAY
The Converse 4x100 meter relay team of Dorian Bomar, Debron Davis, Zephaniah Cox and Gavin McFadden won their heat and posted the third fastest time of the prelims of 39.64 seconds. They qualified for the finals on Saturday at 5:20 p.m. (MT).
Heckstall qualified for the finals of the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.41 seconds. The final will be on Saturday at 6:40 p.m. (MT). Also in the 100 meter dash, Futoria Harris of the University of Mount Olive finished 15th with a time of 11.50 seconds and Converse’s Eseose Okoduwa finished in 11.59 seconds.
Flores then finished second in her 400 meter hurdles heat and eighth overall with a time of 1:00.02 to qualify for Saturday's final. The final will start at 7:25 p.m. (MT).
North Greenville University’s Hannah Hill is in 16th of the heptathlon with 755 points after the opening day.
In the men’s hammer throw, Dominic Nutter of Mount Olive finished seventh and earn All-America honors for the fifth time with a mark of 61.28 meters.
