GREENVILLE, S.C. – The University of Mount Olive has been chosen by its peers as the Athletic Communications Staff of the Year in Conference Carolinas for the 2024-25 academic year.

The 2024-25 Mount Olive athletic communications staff was composed of Assistant Director of Athletics/Media and Communications Alex King, and assistants Alisia Lovejoy and Dominic Nutter.

“It is a great honor to receive this accolade from our fellow colleagues,” King said. The day-to-day operations of our office would not be possible without the efforts of our graduate assistants, interns, student-workers, Alex Hayden and Shane Aube. This recognition is a testament to the hard work, passion, and dedication of our entire team. It is not just about the victories on the field, but the story we get to tell off it. Every moment, every athlete, and every game is an opportunity to connect with our community and share the incredible journey of our student-athletes. I'm incredibly proud of the staff and grateful for the chance to be a part of such a supportive and inspiring environment.”

The Athletic Communications Staff of the Year award is voted on by each member athletic communications department.

“It is great to see Alex, Alisia and Dominic recognized for their great work at Mount Olive,” Conference Carolinas Commissioner Chris Colvin said. “Their dedication to Mount Olive and willingness to help Conference Carolinas at conference championships throughout the season hasn’t gone unnoticed.”
