Conference Carolinas announces 2024-25 SAAC Student-Athletes of the Year

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) announced the second annual winners for the Conference Carolinas SAAC Student-Athlete of the Year. Ioanna Katoudi of Barton College and Zach Cramer of Belmont Abbey College were selected.

Katoudi, a member of the Barton women’s tennis team, serves as the SAAC Vice President. She has served as a conduit with the student-athletes and is heavily involved on campus. The senior not only works on her tennis game, but also organizes study hall multiple times a week for her teammates. 

Cramer serves at Belmont Abbey’s SAAC President and has been the captain of the Crusader men’s volleyball team each of the last two years. He is also the Vice President of Accounting, Date & Technology Honor Society and is involved with Make-A-Wish and Alzheimer’s Association.

The SAAC Student-Athlete of the Year (one male and one female) is voted and awarded each April with the award being recognized again at the in-person SAAC meeting each September. Nominees must be a member of Conference Carolinas SAAC. The winners are voted on by each campus SAAC.
