CONFERENCE CAROLINAS FOOTBALL
  • UNC Pembroke defeated Delta State, marking the first Conference Carolinas win over a ranked team as the Statstmen were ranked 16h in the AFCA poll and 19th in the D2football.com poll.
  • North Greenville came out on top in the first Conference Carolinas football game in 51 years, defeated Barton 41-28.
  • Ferrum earned their first NCAA Division II win last week, topping Shaw 14-6.
IN THE RANKINGS
  • UNC Pembroke returns to the receiving votes portion of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) D2 Coaches Poll presented by Hudl. The Braves received five votes in the latest poll.
  • The Braves were also receiving votes in the preaseason poll.
