Richárd scored two goals in the two games. She scored the equalizer for the Crusaders in a 2-1 defeat to Lander. She then opened the scoring in a 5-1 win over Southern Wesleyan in the Conference Carolinas opener.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Ashli Wuss | Ferrum | Goalkeeper | Senior | Huntington, New York

Wuss went 1-0-1 this past week with a 1-1 tie against Shaw and a 6-0 win over Erskine. Against Shaw she played all 90 minutes with with one goal allowed and 10 saves. Then in Ferrum's game with Erskine, the Panthers' first-ever Conference Carolinas game, she played 63 minutes in net with no goals allowed and three saves.

Thomas Kleinpenning | Young Harris | Midfielder | Junior | Ulft, The Netherlands

Kleinpenning scored three goals in two Young Harris wins last week. He scored one, the game-winner in the Mountain Lions 2-1 win over North Georgia. He then found the back of the net twice, including the game-winner in Young Harris' 2-0 win over Lees-McRae in the Conference Carolinas opener.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
David Guevara | Francis Marion | Defender | Sophomore | Guayaquil, Ecuador

Guevara started and played all 90 minutes for the Patriots in a 1-1 draw with Chowan in a showdown of the top two squads in the preseason poll. He recorded a team save in the opening half by heading a Chowan shot away from an open Francis Marion goal. The senior led a Francis Marion defense that allowed the Hawks only six shots, three on frame.
