In four matches last week, Jackson hit .335, making only eight errors on 155 attack attempts. She averaged 4.29 kills per set with 60 total kills, reaching double digits in three matches. She posted double-doubles with 14 kills and 10 digs against Shorter and a career-high 25 kills and 16 digs against Anderson. The junior started with eight kills and 13 digs against Young Harris and closed with 13 kills, .500 attack percentage, and eight digs against Ferrum. Jackson finished the week with an average of 3.36 digs per set and added seven block assists.

In three Conference Carolinas matches, Johnson averaged 9.67 assists and 2.33 digs per set, leading the Patriots to a 3-0 mark. She started with a double-double, 37 assists and 14 digs against Barton before posting 48 assists, eight digs and four kills in a five-set win over Converse. The freshman closed the week with 31 assists and six digs against Southern Wesleyan.

Alia had a career day leading Shorter to a nonconference win over Virginia University Lynchburg on Saturday. The junior accounted for 120 yards and a touchdown on nine carries for the Hawks. His long rush of the day was 89 yards on the touchdown run. He also posted 91 yards on kickoff returns to finish the day with 211 all-purpose yards.

Marquis Raspberry | UNC Pembroke | Defensive Back | Junior | Washington, D.C.
Raspberry helped the Braves open Conference Carolinas play with a win over Ferrum. He finished the victory with six tackles, three solo and 2.5 tackles for a loss of 19 yards. He added 1.5 sacks for a loss of 13 yards to go along with a forced fumble and one pass breakup. Raspberry also added a quarterback hurry in the triumph.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Taylor Harris | UNC Pembroke | Kicker | r-Freshman | Orlando, Florida.
Harris went a perfect 5-for-5 on extra point attempts and posted three touchbacks on eight kickoffs for 507 yards. He was also 2-for-2 on field goal attempts, including a 47-yard make in the fourth quarter.

Megan Knapp | Lees-McRae | Sophomore | Seville, Ohio
Knapp broke the Lees-McRae school record with a 5k time of 18:08.47 to finish 11th of 73 runners at the Chanticleer Challenge. She was the first NCAA Division II runner to cross the finish line.
