GREENVILLE, S.C. – Seven Conference Carolinas women's triathlon teams will compete at the Women's Collegiate Triathlon East Regional Championship on Saturday at Lake Lanier in Buford, Georgia.

Barton College, Concord University, Emmanuel University, King University, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Newbery College and Wingate University will all compete at the regional at Lake Lanier. The action starts at 8:15 a.m. with the NCAA "B Wave," followed by the NCAA "A Wave" at 10:00 a.m.

The draft league championship starts with a 750 meter swim, followed by a 20k bike and finishes with a 5k run.

Two weeks ago, Wingate won the inaugural Conference Carolinas Women's Triathlon Championship title with Lenoir-Rhyne finishing second and Emmanuel university in a super sprint format that featured four qualifying heats and four final heats.
