GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas has released its 2026 men's soccer all-conference honors as chosen by the league's head coaches.
Lees-McRae College earned three major awards as Conor O'Gorman was selected offensive player of the year, Andrea Marrazzo garnered freshman of the year honors and Taylor Morton was selected coach of the year. Young Harris College's Ondrej Kopecky earned defensive player of the year honors.
O'Gorman had a spectacular season leading Lees-McRae as his nine goals rank third in Conference Carolinas. He added four assists for a total of 22 points, which ranks third in the league. O'Gorman was solid under pressure as well as he leads Conference Carolinas with four game-winning goals. He garnered Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Week on October 20 after scoring three goals in two Bobcat wins.
Kopecky has been a stalwart in the middle of the Young Harris defense as he leads the team with 1457 minutes played and is one of two Mountain Lions to log at least 1400 minutes. The sophomore led a defense that only allowed 1.0 goal per game, and contributed to the Mountain Lion offense. Kopecky ranks second on the team with six goals and five assists for a total of 17 points. Four of his six goals were game-winners as he is tied for the Conference Carolinas lead in that category.
Marrazzo garnered freshman of the year honors after scoring seven goals and leading Conference Carolinas with seven assists. He was tabbed Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Week on September 29 after posting two game-winning goals for the Bobcats. Marrazzo ranks seventh in the league in goals scored as well as points with 21.
Morton earns Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year for the first time after leading the Bobcats to the Conference Carolinas Northwest Division title and second seed in the 2026 Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Championship. The Bobcats have been in the United Soccer Coaches rankings nearly all season, moving up to as high as eighth. Lees-McRae currently owns an overall record of 13-1-3 and posted a Conference Carolinas mark of 9-1-3.
