IN THE RANKINGS North Greenville University has moved up in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) rankings to 15th and 16th in the D2Football.com poll. Both are the highest a Conference Carolinas team has been ranked. STATISTICAL HIGHLIGHTS Kam Montgomery of North Greenville matched the conference record when he was responsible for six touchdowns in the win at UNC Pembroke. That matched the mark set by UNC Pembroke's Tre Robinson a season ago. Robinson threw for four touchdowns and ran for two more. In the North Greenville-UNC Pembroke contest, both quarterbacks ran for at least 100 yards and threw for at least 250 yards. Montgomery ran for 113 and threw for 259 yards while UNC Pembroke's Josh Ehrlich ran for 122 yards and two touchdowns and threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns. The win for North Greenville re-set the conference record for largest comeback as UNC Pembroke led 21-0 in the opening minute of the second quarter. The previous mark was 17 points, accomplished twice earlier this season.
