FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Haniyyah Johnson | Mount Olive | Senior | Jumps/Sprints | Farmville, Virginia
Johnson posted a pair of NCAA provisional times at the Pre-National Championship meet, coming in the 60 meter hurdles and the 60 meter dash. She finished the 60 meter hurdles in 8.55 seconds to finish seventh while she covered the 60-meter distance in 7.53 seconds.

Janara Bryant | Mount Olive | Sophomore | Jumps | Beaufort, North Carolina
Bryant finished runner-up in the triple jump at the Pre-National Championship meet with a leap of 12.51 meters. That mark set the Mount Olive school record and reached an NCAA provisional mark.

Wilson-McCoy posted a season-best and NCAA provisional mark of 14.95 meters in the triple jump at the Pre-National Championship meet.

Jason Hart | Mount Olive | Sprints | Crawley, England
Hart finished fifth at the Pre-National Championship meet in the 200 meters with an NCAA provisional time of 21.54 seconds.
SOFTBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Madalyn White | Francis Marion | Senior | Infield | Currie, North Carolina
In six games last week, White posted a .591 batting average with 13 hits, three doubles and one triple while scoring nine runs and driving in two for Francis Marion. The senior posted at least two hits in five of the six games, collecting three hits in back-to-back games against Ferris State. In a doubleheader against Coker, she posted two hits in each game, scoring three runs in game one and one in game two. White then registered consecutive three-hit games against Ferris State, driving in two and scoring twice in game one. She added two hits in game three against Ferris State and one hit against Tusculum. Defensively, White didn't make an error in 14 chances and helped the Patriots turn a triple play against Ferris State.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Jenna Walling | Francis Marion | Graduate | Pitcher | Johns Island, South Carolina
Walling made four appearances, three starts for Francis Marion last week, finishing with a 0.32 ERA in 21.2 innings pitched. She only allowed three runs, one earned on 12 hits and struck out 17 against zero walks. She tossed a complete game shutout with nine strikeouts and only two hits allowed in a win over Coker to start the week. She followed that with six innings against Ferris State, where she only allowed two unearned runs on six hits and struck out four. Walling earned the win, tossing 1.2 innings in relief against Ferris State as she hit the walk-off two-run home run that gave Francis Marion the 5-3 victory. She closed the week with another complete game, allowing only one unearned run on three hits and striking out four in a win over Tusculum.
BASEBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Joe Whitaker | Belmont Abbey | Senior | Outfield | Tampa, Florida
Whitaker had a big week for Belmont Abbey, producing at least two hits in three conference games at Shorter. He started the week by driving in four and ripping a home run against Lander, and followed that by driving in five on two hits, both home runs in game one against Shorter. He also scored three runs in the Shorter contest. He then scored twice in each of the final two games against Shorter, registering two hits in game two and three hits, including a double in game three. He finished the week with a .615 batting average, going 8-for-13 with eight runs scored and 10 runs batted in.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners

Powell was solid in relief for Francis Marion in a win over Coker on Tuesday. He tossed the final 7.2 innings, allowing only five Cobra hits and striking out six.

Abigayle Heney | Wingate | Sophomore | Top/Tumbler | Troutman, North Carolina
Heney was key for Wingate in their season-opening win over Conference Carolinas preseason favorite Lander. The sophomore competed in seven heats for the Bulldogs, posting five scores of 9.00 or higher. Heney helped the Bulldogs to scores of 8.95 in compulsory heat 1, 9.80 in compulsory heat 2, 8.20 in acro heat 2, 9.70 in acro heat 3, 9.42 in pyramid heat 1, 9.40 in pyramid heat 2 and 9.20 in toss heat 3. She also contributed to a team score of 83.84 that gave Wingate its first win over a nationally ranked opponent.
SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Lexie Cole | Montevallo | Sophomore | Top/Tumbler | Fort Myers, Florida
Cole was solid in the acro event in two meets for Montevallo. She was the top in acro heat 1 and acro heat three in both meets against Saint Leo and Mars Hill. Against Mars Hill, Cole helped the Falcons score their first 10.00 score in program history, coming in acro heat one against Mars Hill. Montevallo then scored 8.15 in acro heat 3. Against Saint Leo, the Falcons scored 8.00 in acro heat 1 and 9.20 in acro heat 3.

Owens closed the regular season with a come-from-behind pin over Coker's Matthew Williams on Friday night. He trailed 7-0, but worked way back into an 8-7 lead before getting the pin at 6:04.
