In three Belmont Abbey matches last week, Day averaged 3.14 kills and 1.43 digs per set. He opened with 19 kills and a .424 attack percentage while adding five digs in a win over Erskine. He then posted nine kills, nine digs and two blocks in a win over Emmanuel. Against Lincoln Memorial, Day recorded 16 kills and a .286 attack percentage to go along with six digs and one block.
SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Abdirahman Ahmed | Lees-McRae | Senior | Setter | Eden Prairie, Minnesota
Ahmed was consistent in a pair of matches for Lees-McRae last week. He averaged 11.13 assists and 2.00 blocks per set for the Bobcats. He handed out 44 assists and added 12 digs against Mount Olive before posting 45 assists, four digs and two blocks in a win over Barton.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Nyeisha Savage | Chowan | Junior | Forward | Suffolk, Virginia
Savage averaged 16.5 points and 14.5 rebounds per game while shooting 53.8 percent in two Chowan contests last week. She started by going 10-for-16 for 23 points to go along with 15 rebounds against Francis Marion before closing with 10 points and 14 rebounds in a win over Young Harris. Savage added three blocks in each contest.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Kiara Croskey | Francis Marion | Sophomore | Guard | Sumter, South Carolina
In three games last week, Croskey came up with 16 steals and averaged 8.7 rebounds per game. She posted 10 rebounds in back-to-back games against Chowan and Converse before adding six rebounds against King. The sophomore added seven steals against Chowan, five against Converse and four against King.

In three games for Converse last week, Surratt averaged 22.0 points and 6.0 rebounds to go along with 11 assists, seven steals and a 51.3 field goal percentage. He posted 25 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals against King before accounting for 21 points, five rebounds and two assists in a win over Francis Marion. He also eclipsed the 1,000-career point mark in the win over Francis Marion. Surratt closed the week with 20 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals in a win over Erskine.

Bleshoy was big on the defensive end in a pair of Young Harris wins last week. He averaged 7.5 rebounds per game and added five steals and three blocks. The week started with four rebounds, four steals and three blocks against Shorter before pulling in 11 rebounds and adding one steal against Chowan.

Troyer posted six points in a 14-13 Young Harris win over Montevallo. She accounted for four goals and two assists as well as five ground balls and 10 draw controls.

In a win over Shorter, Marone accounted for three ground balls and three caused turnovers for Belmont Abbey.

In two games last week, Dowswell accumulated 11 goals and one assist for Emmamuel. He scored five goals against William Jewell before accounting for six goals and one assist against Tusculum. He added two ground balls on the week.

Polhemus was solid in goal for Young Harris last week, accounting for 22 saves over two games. He posted 12 saves against Mars Hill before adding 10 saves in a 16-5 win over Emory & Henry. He also collected five ground balls, four against Mars Hill.
