GREENVILLE, S.C. – South Atlantic Conference Carolinas women's wrestling teams will be in action on Saturday and Sunday at NCAA Region III Championships. The league will send all eight members to Emmanuel University for the first NCAA Women's Wrestling Regional Championships.
All six of the 2026 NCAA Women's Wrestling Region Championships will be contested on Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21. Region III will be hosted at the Shaw Athletic Center at Emmanuel University in Franklin Springs, Georgia.
The top three wrestlers in each of the 10 weight classes at all six NCAA regionals will qualify for the 2026 NCAA Women's Wrestling Championships that will be held March 6-7 in Coralville, Iowa at Xtream Arena.

The NCAA Region Championship will feature 18 teams, including all eight from South Atlantic Conference Carolinas women's wrestling programs eligible for the region competition: Allen University, Bluefield State University, Emmanuel University, Emory & Henry University, King University, Lincoln Memorial University, University of Mount Olive and Newberry College.
Session I of the 2026 NCAA Women's Wrestling Region III Championships begins at 11:00 a.m. on Friday with the first two championship and consolation rounds. The championship semifinals and placement matches will be on Saturday starting at 11:00 a.m.
