INDIANAPOLIS – Two Conference Carolinas women’s basketball teams are mentioned in the first set of NCAA Division II Region Rankings. The first set of rankings lists teams under consideration and Belmont Abbey College and Francis Marion University are both under consideration.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL REGION RANKINGS

Belmont Abbey is 17-6 in the region and overall while Francis Marion is 16-8 in region contests and overall.
