FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – A total of 16 individuals from the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas qualified for the 2026 NCAA National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships. Three SACC teams finished in the top five of the first NCAA Region III Championships standings.
Emmanuel University finished second, the University of Mount Olive came in third and King University took fourth.
Emmanuel led the way with six individuals qualifying for the NCAA National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships while Mount Olive has five. King has four qualifiers and Allen has one.
The top three wrestlers in each of the 10 weight classes at all six NCAA regionals will qualify for the 2026 NCAA National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships that will be held March 6-7 in Coralville, Iowa at Xtream Arena. The championship selections will be announced with a selection show on Friday, February 27 at 1:00 p.m. on NCAA.com.
