VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Conference Carolinas had five individuals compete in the 2026 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday and Saturday. Grace Davis of Converse University led the way, winning the national title in the women’s 60 meter dash.
Davis as the fastest qualifier, running 7.30 seconds on Friday. She then lowered her conference record time, winning the event in 7.26 seconds. The second place finisher finished in 7.33 seconds.
Davis becomes the first Conference Carolinas women’s individual to win an indoor national title.
Janara Bryant of the University of Mount Olive finished third in the triple jump with a leap of 12.57 meters.
Serenity Harvey and Haniyyah Johnson of Mount Olive also competed on the women’s side while Converse’s Dorian Bomar competed on the men’s side.
