WOMEN'S TENNIS
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Leilany Sanchez | Belmont Abbey | Junior | Bradenton, Florida

Sanchez helped Belmont Abbey to a pair of 4-3 Conference Carolinas wins last week, defeating Francis Marion and Converse. The junior went 2-0 at No. 3 doubles and 2-0 at No. 5 singles. In doubles, Sanchez topped lara Lanno and Alyssa Boschin of Francis Marion6-2 and Ellie Luppino and Tamanna Panwar of Converse 6-4. In singles play, she defeated Boschin 6-4,-2 and Converse's Camille Lacombe 6-1, 6-4.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
James Girdler | Emmanuel | Senior | New South Wales, Australia

Girdler went 4-0 last week, taking two wins at No. 1 singles and two wins at No. 1 doubles. He started with a 6-4 doubles win over Martin and O'Neill of Georgia College before topping Martin 6-7, (3-7), 7-5, 10-7 in singles play. Against King, Girdler topped Neleman and Machado 6-2 in doubles and Neleman 6-7 (3-7), 6-4, 6-3 in singles play.
 

WOMEN'S FLAG FOOTBALL
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Jhenelle Francis | Wingate | Freshman | Athlete | Apopka, Florida

Francis was big in two Wingate wins over Lees-McRae and King on Saturday, accounting for 321 passing yards and 231 rushing yards. She was 41-for-68 passing with four touchdowns and rushed for five more touchdowns. She also added five tackles, one tackle for loss, one pass breakup and one interception on defense. She started by going 16-for-30 for 152 yards and two touchdowns whlie running for 83 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-19 win over Lees-McRae. She then went 25-for-38 for 169 yards passing and two touchdowns while running for 148 yards on 12 carries and three touchdowns in a 41-0 win over King.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Alana Placide | Wingate | Freshman | Defense/Wide Receiver | Lauderhill, Florida

In two games last week, Placide accounted for 17 tackles, two pass breakups, two tackles for loss and a 20-yard interception return. She posted six tackles, one for loss in a 30-19 win over Lees-McRae. She then accounted for 11 tackles, one for loss with an interception and a pass breakup in a 41-0 win over King. She added two catches for 16 yards in the win over King.
 

WOMEN'S GOLF
CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Taylor Young | Shorter | Junior | Green Cove Springs, Georgia

Young finsihed in a tie for third at the Agnes McAmis Memorial, finishing the two round tournament with a score of two-over 146. She opened with a round of 74 before finishing with a round of even par 72.

CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Mia Andrade | Southern Wesleyan | Freshman | Chapin, South Carolina

Andrade finsihed in a tie for third at the Agnes McAmis Memorial, finishing the two round tournament with a score of two-over 146. She opened with a round of 75 before finishing with a round of one-under 71.
 

MEN'S GOLF
GOLFER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Gabriel Hull | Emmanuel | Freshman | South Daytona, Florida

Hull won the highly competitve Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate hosted by Wingate with a three round score of 11-under 205. He opened with a round of seven-under 65 before closing with back-to-back rounds of two-under 70. He set matched the low score in tournament history. Hull won the tournament by three strokes over teammate Lukas Lautrup-Nissen.
