SOFTBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Karlie Gibson | Converse | Junior | Catcher/Third Base | Bardwell, Kentucky

Gibson came up big for Converse last week. In her first at bat of the week, she laced a pinch hit home run in the seventh inning to give Converse a 6-5 win over 21st-ranked Carson-Newman. Over the weekend, she went 2-for-4, drove in four and scored one run in a win over Coker. For the week, she hit .600 with a home run and five runs batted in.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Alex Steen | Mount Olive | Junior | Pitcher | Cheraw, South Carolina

In her lone outing of the week, Steen was masterful in a win over Wingate. In the contest, she tossed all seven innings, allowing only four hits and one earned run. She also struck out five against two walks.
 

BASEBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Landon Lucas | UNC Pembroke | Graduate | Utility | Blythewood, South Carolina

In a three game sweep of Southern Wesleyan, Lucas had a big week for UNC Pembroke. He hit .714 with 10 hits, four runs and eight runs batted in. The graduate student laced three doubles and one home run for a slugging percentage of 1.143. He went 4-for-5 with three runs batted in and one run scored in each game one and game three. He ripped a double in each game and added a home run in game three. In the middle game, he went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and two runs batted in.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Robbie Jordan | Francis Marion | Senior | Pitcher | Florence, South Carolina

Jordan turned in a complete game against second-ranked North Greenville over the weekend. In the contest, Jordan allowed only two runs, one earned on five hits in seven innings. He struck out eight and held North Greenville to a .200 batting average.
 

ACROBATICS & TUMBLING
ATHLETE OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners
Audra Kaiser | Lander | Senior | Top/Base/Mid/Tumbler

Kaiser competed in 12 heats for Lander in tri meet wins over Belmont Abbey and Mars Hill. In the compulsory event, she helped the Bearcats score 9.75 in pyramid, 9.80 in toss and 9.05 in tumbling. She then helped the acro heat 2 group score 9.05 out of 9.85. Kaiser competed in all three pyramid heats, helping Lander score 9.45 in heat 1, 9.80 in heat 2 and 9.75 in heat 3. In toss, Kaiser scored 9.45 in heat 1 and 8.00 in heat 2. She closed out the meet by scoring 8.65 out of 9.55 in the tumbling duo pass and 9.350 out of 9.55 in the 6 element tumbling pass.

Crapis helped Wingate to another perfect 10, coming in pyramid heat 3. She also helped the Bulldogs score 9.80 out of 10.00 in pyramid heat 2.
