GREENVILLE, S.C. – Kiara Croskey of Francis Marion University garnered honorable mention honors from the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) as the association announced on Wednesday.

Croskey was also selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Year earlier this month. She currently ranks second in Conference Carolinas and third in the southeast region with an average of 18.6 points per game while grabbing 6.5 rebounds per game. In the southeast region, Croskey ranks 11th with a 47.5 field goal percentage and third with 200 field goals. Her 147 free throws and free throw percentage of 83.1 rank second and eighth in the region, respectively. Croskey leads the region and ranks seventh in NCAA Division II with 102 steals and ranks 10th in the country with an average of 3.40 steals per game.
Croskey was twice named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week and Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Week.
The WBCA NCAA Division II Coach of the Year, Player of the Year and Coaches’ All-America team are selected by the WBCA NCAA Division II Awards Committee from coaches and student-athletes who are nominated by WBCA member coaches.
