Belmont Abbey learns destination in NCAA Bowling Bowling Championship

INDIANAPOLIS – Belmont Abbey College learned their destination in the 2026 NCAA National Collegiate Women's Bowling Championship on Wednesday. The Crusaders will travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to face Saint Vincent College in the opening round.

The regional will be conducted at the AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Belmont Abbey will take on Saint Vincent in a single-elimination Mega-Match on Thursday, April 2. Mega-Matches consist of a best two-of-three format including a traditional team match, a five-game Baker total pinfall match and a best four-of-seven regular Baker match.

NCAA RELEASE | TOURNAMENT BRACKET

The winner of that match advances into the double elimination portion of the bracket where they will face third seed Arkansas State University. The other half of the regional features University of Nebraska and Duquesne University. The double elimination Mega-Matches will take place on April 3 and 4.

The winner of each of the four regionals will advance to the final at Yorktown Lanes in Parma Heights, Ohio.

The Crusaders are making their third straight appearance at the championship after capturing the Conference Carolinas automatic bid. The Crusaders have won their opening match each of the last two years, defeating Alabama State and Prairie View A&M.
