WOMEN'S OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners

Janara Bryant | Mount Olive | Sophomore | Jumps | Beaufort, North Carolina
Bryant set an NCAA provisional mark in the triple jump at the Adidas Trojan Challenge with a leap of 12.52 meters. That is the top mark in NCAA Division II this year. She also finished runner-up in the long jump with a mark of 5.44 meters.

TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Serenity Harvey | Mount Olive | Freshman | Sprints | Whiteville, North Carolina
Harvey posted an NCAA provisional mark and school record in the 200 meters at the Adidas Trojan Classic. She covered the 200-meter distance in 23.63 seconds to win the event. She also won the 400 meters with a time of 56.16 seconds and helped the 4x100 meter relay finish first.

Antoine King | Mount Olive | Sophomore | Throws
King won the discus at the Adidas Trojan Open with an NCAA provisional mark of 52.79 meters.

TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Dominick Stevens | King | Sophomore | | Sprints | Louisville, Tennessee
Stevens had a big weekend, finishing the 100 meters in 10.39 seconds and the 200 meters in 21.43 seconds. He currently ranks 13th in NCAA Division II and second in Conference Carolinas in the 100 meters.
 

SOFTBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners

Madalyn White | Francis Marion | Senior | Shortstop/Third Base | Currie, North Carolina
White helped Francis Marion to a 5-1 week, hitting .550 with 11 hits, including one double and six runs scored. She posted at least two hits in five games, including going 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a double in a game one win over Chowan. She added two hits in the nightcap against the Hawks. Earlier in the week, White posted two hits and scored two runs in each game of a doubleheader sweep of UNC Pembroke before posting two hits in a game two win over Barton.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Jenna Walling | Francis Marion | Graduate | Pitcher | Johns Island, South Carolina
In six appearances, including four starts last week, Walling went 4-0 with a 0.23 ERA and 25 strikeouts to lead Francis Marion to a 5-1 record. She started by tossing complete games in both ends of a doubleheader sweep of UNC Pembroke. She allowed two unearned runs on six hits and struck out three in game one before allowing four unearned runs on four hits and striking out five in game two. She followed that with an eight-inning complete game in a 2-1 win over Barton, allowing one unearned run on seven hits while striking out 10. She then registered the save, recording the final out, with the tying run on base, in a 1-0 win in game two against Barton. Walling closed the week with a five-inning complete game, allowing one run on four hits with five strikeouts in a 10-1 win over Chowan before throwing 2.2 scoreless innings in game two against Chowan.
 

BASEBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners

Ethan McAnally | Francis Marion | Junior | Molino, Florida
McAnally posted a .500 batting average over four games last week with two doubles, one home run, six runs batted in and five runs scored for Francis Marion. In the Patriots' 14-10 win over top-ranked Catawba, the junior went 3-for-6 with two runs scored, two runs batted in and one stolen base. He then posted five hits in the series win over Mount Olive, going 2-for-4 in game one and 3-for-5 in game three. He ripped a home run and drove in two in game one and laced two doubles and drove in three in game three.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Kasen McCawley | UNC Pembroke | Senior | Pitcher | Haw River, North Carolina
McCawley tossed the first UNC Pembroke no-hitter since 2022 and first solo no-hitter since 2009. He only needed 83 pitches, 56 for strikes, to cover all seven innings to defeat Shorter 4-0. In the contest, he struck out 10 against zero walks while facing 22 batters, one over the minimum.
 

ACROBATICS & TUMBLING
ATHLETE OF THE WEEKPrevious Winners

Ashlyn Shively | Lander | Junior | Top | Pinehurst, North Carolina
Shively competed in 13 heats for Lander last week, helping the Bearcats to two program records and another season-high. She was a member of the compulsory acro and pyramid heats that set program record scores of 9.65 and 10.00, respectively. The Bearcats scored a season-high 9.90/10.00 in pyramid heat 3, and along with those three scores, Shively contributed to six other scores that are the highest in Conference Carolinas this season. Those scores came in acro heat 1 (9.85/10.00), acro heat 3 (9.80/10.00), pyramid heat 2 (9.85/10.00), toss heat 1 (9.45/9.90), toss heat 2 (8.75/9.40) and tumbling quad pass (7.650/8.000).

Philcox was solid in the acro event for Lander, helping the Bearcats score 9.85/10.00 in heat 1 and 9.80/10.00 in heat 2.
