Wingate's Crapis selected NCATA Specialist of the Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. – For the second straight week, a Conference Carolinas acrobatics & tumbling athlete garnered a national weekly award from the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA). Bella Crapis of Wingate University was tabbed Division II Specialist of the Week.

Crapis, a senior from Coraopolis, Pa., was a standout in the pyramid event this week. As a base and mid-base for Wingate, she helped her team to a 10.0 in open pyramid and a 9.80 in synchronized pyramid.

A week ago, Wingate’s Chloe Parker and Gracelyn Grady earned athlete and specialist of the week, respectively.
