INDIANAPOLIS – Two Conference Carolinas women’s basketball teams are ranked in the final set of NCAA Division II Region Rankings. Belmont Abbey College and Francis Marion University are both ranked in the rankings.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL REGION RANKINGS

Francis Marion is ranked sixth with an overall and region record of 19-9 while Belmont Abbey is ranked 10th with records of 21-6 overall and in region. Francis Marion is the top seed in the 2026 Conference Carolias Women's Basketball Championship, and will play on Saturday in a semifinal while Belmont Abbey is the third seed and returns to the court on Friday in a quarterfinal.
