SPARTANBURG, S.C. – King University claimed the team title in cheerleading, and for the fourth straight year Barton College won the dance team title at the annual Conference Carolinas Spirit Championships.

UNC Pembroke and North Greenville University were chosen as the all-girl intermediate division winners in cheerleading, while King University captured the co-ed intermediate championship in cheerleading.

In the advanced division, Lees-McRae College won the all-girl championship.

King also was chosen as the overall winner for the intermediate division.

The 2026 Conference Carolinas Spirit Championships were held for the third straight academic year inside the main arena of Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.
