FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The top seeds advanced to the 2026 Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship with semifinal wins on Saturday. Wingate University defeated Coker University and Lander University topped the University of Montevallo.

Top-seed and 14th-ranked Wingate jumped ahead of fourth-seed Coker, outscoring the Cobras in the compulsory, acro and pyramid events to lead 94.40-91.00 at the half. The Bulldogs won all three events in the second half to take the 256.960-247.345 victory.

Second-seeded and 12th-ranked Lander University started with a solid compulsory event to grab the lead against third seed University of Montevallo. However, the Falcons came back and won the acro event before Lander regained a halftime lead of 93.375-93.075 following a win in the pyramid event. In the second half, Lander extended their lead slightly in the toss event before pulling away in the tumbling event. The Bearcats won the team event and took the meet 258.280-253.750.

The Conference Carolinas Event Finals will take place on Sunday, April 12 at 11:00 a.m. with the championship meet between Wingate and Lander to follow at 5:00 p.m.
