WOMEN'S TENNIS
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Pati Vedia Sanchez | Lees-McRae | Senior | Arganda del Rey, Madrid, Spain

Sanchez posted six wins for Lees-McRae last week, going 3-0 at No. 1 doubles and 3-0 at No. 1 singles. She started the week with wins over King's Deniz Aytun and Trinity Moore (6-0) in doubles and Aytun (6-3, 6-3) in singles. Sanchez followed that with wins over Belmont Abbey, defeating Kaitlin Nguyen 6-2, 6-1 in singles and Hanley Riner and Mackenzie McCarthy 6-1 in doubles. In the final match of the week, Sanchez earned wins over Francis Marion's Magdalena Skachova and Janka Juhasz, 6-1 in doubles and Lara Lanno, 6-3, 6-7 (9-11), 6-4 in singles.
 

MEN'S TENNIS
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Cameron Simpson | Belmont Abbey | Sophomore | Salisbury, England

Simpson went 3-0 at No. 1 doubles and 3-0 at No. 2 singles for Belmont Abbey last week. He started the week by defeating Ferrum's Emanuel Ferreira and Tobi Teller 6-4 in doubles before topping Sebastian Ondas 6-3, 6-4 in singles play. Against Lees-McRae, Simpson topped the doubles tandem of Isaac Yang and Hudson Hoskins 6-1 and defeated Tenzin Dorji 6-2, 6-1 in singles play. Simpson capped the week with wins over North Greenville's Pavle Markus and Gabriel Pegoraro 6-4 in doubles and Pegoraro 6-4, 6-4 in singles.
 

WOMEN'S FLAG FOOTBALL
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Payson Shreeve | Ferrum | Freshman | Quarterback/Safety | Gilbert, Arizona

In two games last week, Shreeve went 60-for-95 passing for 814 yards and 16 touchdowns. She added 51 rushing yards on six carries for two touchdowns. In a 38-33 win over Lees-McRae, Shreeve went 33-for-51 for 342 yards and five touchdowns. She then added 472 passing yards, going 27-for-44 for 11 touchdowns in a win over Chowan.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Evonne Bruestle | Wingate | Sophomore | Defense/Wide Receiver | Las Vegas, Nevada

Bruestle had a monster game to help lead Wingate to a 32-27 win over Emmanuel to claim the regular season conference title. She piled up 17 tackles and two pass breakups. Of the 17 tackles, 11 went for a loss, including 10 sacks.
